We adopted Eames on July 12, 2009. He is a holland lop that loves being scratched on the head. Eames has quite the personality. He loves affection, but hates being picked up with a passion. He'll be your best friend for a hand-full of oats. We buy him only the most expensive pet toys, for example cardboard boxes, paper bags, and empty toilet paper rolls. He has a weird obsession with Roomba, our vacuum cleaner. He tries to nudge it out of the way, and has turned it on, on several occasions. He likes to chew on cords when we turn our back, and it is his life's mission is to eat the Catan board-game box. Oh, and he hates Charlotte.
We adopted Charlotte from the BARC shelter on November 23, 2010. She is a tabby kitten with a bright orange spot on her head. She is a handful. She loves to chase Eames around the house, and when she is not harassing him, she is grooming him with her sandpaper tongue. She hasn't achieved that "graceful cat" thing. She is not very good at landing on her feet and has fallen into the bath with me at least five times. Luckily the water doesn't really bother her. The hairdryer, however, does. My favorite thing about Charlotte is that when she is tired, she is super snuggly. |
