NINTENDO CARTRIDGE
Mario is the best. We love playing the old NES, probably because
we can't handle any of these new fangled video games.

CHANEL
Chance is my favorite fragrance. Last year
Steven surprised me with a bottle.

HEELS
She has the best taste in shoes. In heels she is a good
2 inches taller than me, but I totally don't mind.

EAMES LOUNGE
Charles and Ray Eames are by far our favorite furniture designers,
so much so, we named our bunny after them. Steven has wanted one
of these chairs for longer than we have been together.

COOKIE
If I had a dollar for every one of these Dare
chocolate fudge cookies she has eaten.

DRESS
My dress collection has grown exponentially
since we started dating. I wonder why.

RING
If I had any idea how much of an undertaking it was going to be
to design her engagement ring I would totally do it again.

BICYCLE
Steven and I used to take bike rides around my neighborhood.
He enjoyed it so much that he bought this expensive road
bike that just sits in the corner. He says he would ride it more if
I had a fancy new bike too. Excuses.

SUCCULENT
How do we manage to keep killing these things?
They are cactuses for goodness sake. Oh well, we still try.

SPEAKER #1
I will go to any concert with Steven even if I lose my hearing
by 30. Yes, this does include really crappy metal bands.

CUPCAKE
Nicole loves to bake cupcakes, and luckily for me she is super
good at it. Did I mention they are always really cute? I eat them anyway.

AALTO VASE
I didn't even know what this was when Steven first mentioned wanting
to have one. We weren't even dating yet. Luckily for me, I remembered when
the time came for the all important one year anniversary.

CHUCK TAYLORS
We should probably look into mixing it up a bit.
Oh well, I guess it could be our thing.

CHANDELIER
We love this chandelier in Steven's Grandmother's
house. If it turns up missing, we didn't do it.

SWISS ARMY KNIFE
A keychain staple.

BIRDHOUSE
We both love this particular birdhouse, and have plans to make one of our
own someday. You know how we are, it will probably never happen.

TIE
Nothing beats a good skinny tie.

SPEAKER #2
We can't go anywhere in the car until Steven has picked out the
perfect album to listen too. This is a long process, and is subject to
review after each and every song.

STAND MIXER
Nicole has wanted this, the Cadillac of baking tools, for forever.
Luckily she just got her hands on one, and that was a good day for me.

PLANE
We have a list of places we would love to see before
we even think about kids. It is a long, long list.

SCREEN PRINTING SQUEEGEE
That hobby I have that definitely creates more stress for
me than it's worth. I taught Nicole how to do it and after one
day she is totally kicking my butt. I need a new hobby.

VIDEO CAMERA
Who doesn't want a Super8 camera?

CAR
I can't count the number of hours, miles, gallons of gas, and
6 A.M. mornings It took for her to get through college.

CALCULATOR WATCH
Yes he owns one. Yes you have probably seen it. No, he does not do
any sort of calculations with it. At least it doesn't talk to you in French like
his other watch. The time on the watch is the date of our first kiss.

BOOK
Definitely the most loaded image on the save the date. It is our late nights
on the phone reading the Bible together, and our love for all things printed and
bound. It is also the same image I used on the proposal poster.

COFFEE
Steven has a problem.

SKELETON KEY
I love how she scatters these keys all over my house. Nothing
makes her antique shopping experience complete quite like finding
a handful of these guys for 2 bucks.

NELSON CLOCK
For all the well designed clocks we plan on having around
our house, we still won't be on time to the Perossas.

CAMERA
We love taking photographs. Hers are definitely the best. She can
somehow edit 16 of her photos in Photoshop for every one that I do.

UMBRELLA
Jason and Andrew say we look like "Seattle People".
Well, I guess we do love it when it rains.

ROBOT
C'mon! Robots are totally the coolest.

GLASSES
We are both so blind. Luckily for me, Steven looks adorable in glasses.

RECORD
We combined our record collections the other day!
There is no turning back now.

HOUSE
Steven loves ranch style houses. Maybe someday our home will look like this.

We are soooooo not photogenic.

My little typographer. This A is a glyph from the typeface
he has been working on for like 2 years. It is so great having
your own good looking in-house graphic designer.

MICROSCOPE
Nicole and I have such different degrees. She is such a dork,
and I love it. How can someone get so excited about fungi?

ROCKET
The real reason why Steven wanted to design the save the date this way.
He is also obsessed with NASA. One Christmas I bought him a 1 dollar NASA
sticker. He doesn't remember what else I gave him that year.
